I have been awarded a working/study scholarship with the Michael Chekhov Studio New York to train in Chekhov’s technique during this year’s Summer Intensive Workshop and festival. I’ll be working with professional practitioners in the method, students of Chekhov, himself, such as Joanna Merlin, immersed in the practice for a week. We live, practice and meditate, study and create in ensembles using the practical tools. This is my first practical training, galvanising my Masters research.
Grateful and blessed. Very much looking forward to training with like-minded souls of this wonderful methodology who’s primary tool is the physical body and imagination.
